I had the opportunity to interview Francis Gimara at the Kenya International Conference Centre, where he shared his insights on the future of the legal sector in Uganda. During the interview, he highlighted key ways in which he believes the legal landscape in Uganda can be improved. He emphasized the importance of legal reforms that would promote better access to justice, enhance the efficiency of the legal system, and reduce the barriers that hinder the delivery of legal services to the public. Gimara also pointed to the need for modernization and the integration of technology in legal processes as a means to improve overall effectiveness.

In addition to his role at ALP, Gimara has contributed to discussions on legal reforms within Uganda and East Africa, focusing on improving the legal system and promoting access to justice.
