1)Tell us a bit about yourself

Hi, I am KVG Candle, a Gospel hiphop artist from Kenya blessed with massive rap talent ready and willing to bring back the glory of Kenyan Gospel music all for the glory of God.

2)What do you love the most about your line of work?

It helps me to express myself and clear my mind but most importantly I feel so nice when I can give people hope for a better tomorrow and talk through real life events/experiences through rap.

3)What challenges do you face?

At times, I get ideas of like a message that I want to pass across but then I fail to find the best words to bring that message out correctly. This is a good challenge, though, because it forces me to research some more.

4)Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years?

Hmm, I will still be stronger Christian 😄 probably settled with a family of my own and also I would have stamped my name in the rap industry.

5)Who is your inspiration and role model?

I like listening to Juliani especially his song Utawala. That song is well put together and the message is amazing and relatable to almost everyone.

6)What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started out?

I wish I new where to invest both my time and money. But it’s alright, these things we learn as we grow so that’s fine.

7)What would you like your legacy to be?

I just wish that I could speak to the lives of people, draw them to Christ, and give them a message of hope and at the same time make them entertained.

8)Who do you credit for your success?

I give God all the glory for who I am and where I am. You know it’s God who gives talent. Some talents you can never be taught, you can never learn and you can never inherit they come from above and you cannot even pay for them the best you can do is to use them well.

I’ll keep doing what I do, making good music with great message and positive vibes. Brace yourselves guys!!!
