Maverick City Music & Kirk Franklin Kenya Tour set for August 17th, 2024
American Gospel singer, songwriter and producer Kirk Franklin together with award winning American contemporary worship music group Maverick City Music will be performing on the 17th August at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi, Kenya as part of the Kingdom World Tour 2024.
The ‘Stomp’ hit maker whose story continues to inspire even the younger generation today, is credited with revolutionizing the appeal of gospel music in the 1990s.
He created music that captivated young people, leading them to embrace the gospel genre in ways that departed from traditional sounds.
Maverick City Music ,the group that started in 2018, has continued to gain international repute due to some of their famous hit songs such as ‘ Promises’, ‘Man Of Your Word’ and ‘Jireh’ done in collaboration with Steven Furtick’s Elevation Worship.
Since 2020, Maverick City Music has become a big deal, with their songs enjoying massive popularity globally.
One of the key things that has made the group unique as a band is because they insisted on channeling their own path and finding a unique niche that would remain relevant even to the younger generation.
