Why Nairobi Deputy Governor Njoroge Muchiri is hitting headlines for the wrong reasons
Those who have visited City Hall will agree that Nairobi Deputy Governor Njoroge Muchiri never has anything on his in-tray.
The Deputy Governor is mostly found reading Newspapers with almost zero files to clear in what is a clear indicator of a man sidelined by his boss.
However, the DG seems to be scoring high in other sectors with details emerging of how he has used his position to win over young beautiful girls.
Blogger Maverick Aoko posted what many have known albeit in silence, of the DG’s escapades with a young beautiful lady called Joy Kagiri Muchiri. He left his wife for the young lady who has the history of dating rich lawyers and people in the banking sector.
But it seems the DG could be in for trouble after it emerged that his boss Johnson Sakaja has also been feasting on Joy. How generous can she be to both Sakaja and Muchiri?
“It is all about power and money,” an X user posted.
The interest however remains on the DG, who had a similar track record on women affairs when he served as the Chief Operating Officer for Absa Bank Kenya. He always ran into trouble with his lawfully wedded wife, who was never at peace due to Muchiri’s love for twilight call girl and young ladies working in the banking sector.
At City Hall, he is the man who is little known and has even been branded a huge let down to people from his tribe.
“He just sits there while his people run out of business and get little opportunities,” a disgruntled supplier said.
Despite his lack of clear work to do, the DG has not failed to land his name in the corruption books at City Hall. He managed to arm-twist his way into the looting spree that is the order of the day at the county. In his corner, lies a number of Chief Officers and Directors that he uses to swindle county resources.
Sources indicate that Governor Sakaja has given him permission to loot where he can as long as he makes something for himself. Some of the Directors working with him are County Director for Environment Mr. John Paul Malawi and many others.
The DG has at times fallen into power fights with Finance County Executive Charles Kerich and Chief Officer Finance Asha Abdi over push for dubious payments. However, they always end up agreeing because they are birds of the same feathers.

All these efforts are seemingly geared towards financing his lavish lifestyle that he adopted at Absa Bank where he made money through money laundering schemes.
His concubine Joy is aware of his love for the cookie jar-has thus made a routine to cheat on him with his own boss as long as she makes money.
All eyes are now on City Hall as the soap opera nears explosion point.
The county is facing numerous allegations among them corruption amounting to millions of money, several county officers including procurement and accountants will be prosecuted soon since there file is ready.
