Accelera Digital Group (ADG) has been named Google Cloud’s 2025 Partner of the Year for Africa, a prestigious recognition that celebrates the company’s exceptional contributions to cloud innovation, service excellence, and customer impact across the continent.

The award was presented to Cliff De Wit, ADG’s Chief Innovation Officer, during the Google Cloud Next ’25 Partner Summit held on April 8 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

As one of the largest Google Cloud partners in Africa, ADG continues to play a leading role in accelerating digital transformation across key industries, supporting organizations in adopting cloud-first strategies that drive scalability, efficiency, and AI-powered innovation.

This recognition also affirms ADG’s integral part in advancing Google’s $1 billion+ commitment to Africa, including the launch of the continent’s first Google Cloud region.

“Google Cloud’s Partner Awards recognize partners who have created outsized value for customers through the delivery of innovative solutions and a high level of expertise,” said Kevin Ichhpurani, President of Global Partner Ecosystem at Google Cloud. “We’re proud to announce ADG as a 2025 Google Cloud Partner Award winner and celebrate their impact in enabling customer success over the past year.”

ADG’s achievements span several industries. In fintech, the group partnered with Moniepoint to build a scalable data warehouse capable of supporting over $20 billion in monthly transactions.

By centralizing billions of records, Moniepoint can now harness AI to drive better decision-making and expand financial inclusion in underserved regions.

In another fintech project, ADG worked with InTouch Group to establish a secure and well-architected Landing Zone on Google Cloud. This provided a robust cloud foundation with enhanced security, operational efficiency, and cost transparency to support scalable growth.

In the online gaming sector, ADG enabled Betika to expand into 10 African countries by optimizing cloud costs and ensuring platform scalability. The company also bolstered Betika’s cyber defense by integrating Mandiant’s threat intelligence and incident response capabilities.

Commenting on the award, ADG Chief Technology Officer Daniel Acton said, “This award is a testament to our commitment to enabling Africa’s digital transformation with world-class cloud solutions. By combining Google Cloud’s advanced capabilities with our deep local expertise, we empower businesses to scale, innovate, and create meaningful impact across the continent.”
