Optiven Group CEO George Wachiuri was among over 500 global entrepreneurs who converged in Tokyo, Japan, for the Global Leadership Summit organized by Corporate Connect Kenya.
The high-profile event was spearheaded by Country Director Nancy Kihika and Director Lilian Gachoki, with a mission to foster collaboration, exchange ideas, and explore international business opportunities.
Representing Kenya’s real estate sector, Optiven stood out for its commitment to innovation, ethical investments, and empowering diaspora communities with secure property ownership solutions.
Mr. Wachiuri used the summit as a platform to engage global investors interested in Africa—especially in Kenya’s growing property market.
“The summit presented a unique opportunity for Optiven to share Kenya’s real estate potential while also forming valuable networks that can accelerate development back home,” said Wachiuri.
After the main event, Wachiuri and the Optiven team held a special session with the Kenyan diaspora community, many of whom have already invested in Optiven properties and received their land title deeds.
In a show of continued partnership, Optiven also announced a Ksh 500,000 support package to the Kenyans in Japan Association (KIJA), strengthening ties with the diaspora group that has worked closely with the company for over five years.
“This contribution reinforces our commitment to walk the investment journey with Kenyans abroad and ensure they access genuine, value-driven opportunities in Kenya,” he added.
