Located at Kawangware’s Soko Safi Mall, the 87th Absa branch sits at the heart of one of Nairobi’s most vibrant and enterprising communities. It offers individuals, businesses, and the wider community convenient, accessible, and tailored banking solutions. The branch features a full-service banking hall, a 24/7 ATM and cash deposit machine, and is complemented by a strong agency banking network, and mobile banking to reach customers where they live and work.

This branch represents our promise to walk with this community, offering not just banking services, but the knowledge, and partnerships that help people thrive,” he said.
As part of the launch, the Bank also flagged off a caravan, an initiative aimed at empowering enterprises and individuals in Kawangware and surrounding areas, including Dagoretti, Kikuyu, and others, with financial knowledge, relevant solutions, and tools that meet their current needs. This forms part of a nationwide drive by Absa to engage Kenyans directly and support their business and personal aspirations.
Speaking at the event, Absa Kenya’s Consumer Banking Director, Moses Muthui, highlighted how the bank is bringing these solutions closer to customers in markets, shops, and schools and making banking more accessible and impactful where it matters most.

This presence reflects the belief that every Kenyan deserves the right solutions and a partner who truly understands their journey. We are proud to be part of Kawangware’s story,” he concluded.
