Peter Njeru:Taking The Agricultural Sector In Tharaka Nithi County To The Next Level

Peter Kimathi Njeru is a multi talented executive working for the county government of Tharaka Nithi
Peter Njeru is known by many to be a very knowledgeable, competent and reliable executive at the Tharaka Nithi county government.
Leaders who have gotten a chance to interact with Mr Njeru praise him for his management and leadership style terming it as impeccable.
He recently attended the agrinutrition summit at Windsor Golf Club with the purpose of encouraging consumption of indigenous food in Tharaka Nithi county.
With the rise of fast food restaurants in Kenya,obesity is at an all time high and doctors have warned about the rise of cardio-vascular diseases and diabetes hence the summit being timely.
Mr Njeru said,”I look forward to encouraging the consumption of indigenous food in my county.Over the years we have seen the rise of fast food restaurants and sadly indigenous food has taken a back seat but we want to turn this around.”
He added,”We look forward to encouraging the people of Tharaka Nithi to consume indigenous food.It is important that the current generation understands the benefits of eating indigenous food.”
Mr Njeru was invited to grace the agrinutrition summit at Windsor Golf Club in Nairobi last month where many respected leaders including Mr Njeru were invited to discuss the way forward on consumption of indigenous food in the country.
